The Dextron® trawl warps are made with Dyneema® and can be covered with OTS Protective jacket™. It has high strength-to-weight ratio, and you get the same strength as same size steel wire rope. Dextron® warps have a high abrasion resistance that gives durability, reliability, longer service lifetime and low operational costs. Dextron® warps saves fuel and increases stability on vessel. The Dextron® warps gives flexible towing techniques. The low weight of the Dextron® warps gives higher towing speed and more catch.




CoreDex™ 12

Made to provide radial stability and best possible spooling capabilities while maintaining the high strength gained from the Dyneema® fibers. The rope has a polyester control core and is finished with a stiff outer jacket and a special durable coating.

OTS Protective jacket™: Patent no: 314459

The patented chafe gear - OTS Protective jacket™ - offers excellent protection against external abrasion and increases rope lifetime with up to five times. The "no-rupture" construction combined with the worlds most abrasion resistant synthetic fibers, makes this the best cut -and abrasion resistant cover for your ropes. The jacket is mechanically braided onto the rope for a firm and solid finish.

OTS Protective jacket™ is braided in the following combinations:

  • Soft eyes
  • Soft eyes and required length (for instance over the splices)
  • Exposed area on the rope
  • Entire rope length
